Card game
A card game about the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS in Portuguese), created for the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. Each player takes on the role of a world leader and makes policy decisions to solve the planet’s problems.
The theme
The planet faces huge economic, social and environmental challenges. The United Nations has called on everyone to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: a global effort to end poverty, promote prosperity and well-being and protect the planet by tackling climate change.
In ODS: Jogo de Cartas, players put measures and policies in place to achieve these goals.
Two versions
Each version is dedicated to three goals. One brings together SDGs 1, 2 and 3; the other, SDGs 11, 12 and 13.
The game
A fast-paced card game in which every decision brings the world closer to the goals.
Each player takes on the role of a world leader making crucial policy decisions.
Players acquire Decision Cards and match them with the corresponding Problem Cards to solve them.
On their turn, each player takes two actions of their choice: taking a card from the Decisions area or from the Problems area.
A problem with three Decision Cards is solved and is worth 5 points at the end of the game.
They give extra points during the game or at the end.
Rules designed for players aged 6 and up, with children and adults at the same table.
