Why games

Why games work

Modern board games reward decisions rather than luck, never knock players out and build the theme into the rules. Each game creates a safe environment where people decide under pressure, negotiate and handle incomplete information. That is where behaviour becomes visible, open to discussion and transferable to the workplace.

Team spirit

Builds trust between colleagues, in and out of the game.

Communication

To move forward, players have to explain, listen and negotiate.

Problem solving

Decisions are made under pressure and with incomplete information, with no real-world consequences.

Engagement

Play lowers resistance to change and everyone stays in the game until the end.

Networking

Brings together people who do not usually work together.

From game to work

The debriefing links what happened in the game to real work.

How we work

From assessment to debriefing

Every proposal starts by understanding the team and what it wants to work on.

01

Assessment

Objectives, context and team make-up. Number of participants, date and venue.

02

Design

Choice of the games and activities best suited to the group and its objectives.

03

Session

Led by a qualified, experienced professional who explains the games and supports the teams.

04

Debriefing

At the end, a conversation that links what happened in the game to real work.

What our clients say

“

A great idea to put board games to work on skills. Carrying what happens in the game over to the reality of our companies is very effective.
